Boysun

.

Boysun is part of the Tentative list of Uzbekistan in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

Boysun is a mixed historical and cultural landscape located on the ridge of the Baysuntog mountain range. It includes numerous archeological sites, such as Teshik Cave (where a Neanderthal skeleton was found), the Greco-Macedonian Fortress of Kurganzok, or the Iron Gate Kushan wall. Huge fossilized dinosaur tracks were also found. Traditional rituals remain alive and inscribed in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
